Introduction

Welcome to the Felixstowe South Reconfiguration Phase 1 construction website, produced by Costain Ltd. As the existing port has been part of the community for the last 100 years we recognise the importance of keeping the community involved and informed during reconfiguration of the Landguard terminal over the next few years. This website will chart construction progress, community initiatives, public notices and meetings amongst other useful information during construction.

28th February 2010 - Just a couple of thousand square metres of asphalt surfacing remains next to the new gate house. A total of 350,000m2 of paving will have been completed

Nearly there! Nearly all of the terminal paving has now been completed. A few remaining activities are taking part in the final third of the project. This includes fencing and road marking.
